WildList

The EWDA WildList aims to connect fellow scientists interested in wildlife health. It allows to find European colleagues from any discipline with given interests and expertise in wildlife health-related fields. The corresponding email list allows communication on a wide range of topics related to wildlife, including the announcement of meetings and courses and job advertisements, with the Surveillance Platform (or Google group) remaining a subgroup dedicated to specific discussions on wildlife health surveillance in Europe.

Anybody with a particular expertise in wildlife and interested in wildlife health can become a WildList member. To apply for membership, applicants should fill the form available here and press the ‘submit’ button. If you wish to send a message to all members of the WildList or have a question or comment for the WildList moderator, please use the form available here.

Each member can and is encouraged to update his/her profile as appropriate, by using the same registration form as for the initial application.

You can navigate the table by clicking the arrows. You can select the number of rows shown per page and search for information such as particular taxa, specialties or country.

KujtimMersiniAlbaniaNational Veterinary Epidemiology UnitAvian Influenza; Rabies; Bluetongue; Leishmaniasis; Classical Swine FeverWolfs; Foxes; Phlebotomus.spp; Culicoides.spp; Waterfowl; In Albania the wildlife surveillance is established only for rabies disease and mostly focused on foxes, wolfs and occasionally in bats.
For other diseases and the related susceptible wild species there is no surveillance in place. Opportunistic investigations are initiated after outbreaks in domestic animals.
Due to this situation any help is appreciated!
